Where it all began
I grew up watching my grandma run a small-town beauty shop—not just styling hair, but building a place where people felt they belonged. That experience shaped me.
For over 20 years, I helped leaders and businesses navigate change, create alignment, and design meaningful experiences. I worked remotely before it was the norm, behind the scenes making things happen.
Then, life called for something new.
I stepped away from what I knew, took a leap, and found myself right back where I thrive: helping small-town businesses grow from the inside out.

Hey there, I’m Jessica Riesenbeck—founder of Regionally Rooted, lifelong small-town girl, and someone who believes that business is about people first.
I’ve lived most of my life in Shelby County, Ohio, surrounded by generations of small-business owners who showed me the value of hard work, community connection, and rolling up your sleeves to make something meaningful.
Growing up, I watched my grandma build more than just a beauty shop—she built a space where people felt seen, heard, and at home. That shaped everything I do today. I'm passionate about helping businesses create that same kind of connection—turning everyday interactions into something that matters.
Over the last 20+ years, I’ve worked behind the scenes helping leaders and teams find clarity, build momentum, and create workplaces where people actually want to show up. My sweet spot? The messy middle—where big ideas need structure, teams need alignment, and strategy needs a little creative magic.
